Sustainable Municipality
During the period 1 January 2009 to 30 June 2011, the Association of Swedish Regional Energy Agencies (FSEK) functioned as coordinatinators of project cluster within the national programme Sustainable Municipality.
In the project, FSEK managed six of the clusters during the entire period of the project, and a seventh cluster from mid-August 2010. Each cluster has had a co-ordinator, or coach, whose main responsibilities has been to serve as a link between the Swedish Energy Agency and the participating municipalities in the programme. In total 54 out of 66 municipalities in the programme has been co-ordinated in the project. The remaining 12 municipalities are all a part of a pilot project by county Kalmar, and had their co-ordination arranged by Region Kalmar.
