Low Energy Housing for Attractive Accommodation
The purpose of the project was to stimulate the demand among municipalities for the construction and renovation of small and multi-family houses according to low energy housing standards. Information efforts have primarily been directed to politicians and officials. Project owners have been Energy Agencies Sweden and the project management has been Mälardalen Energy Agency. The regional efforts have been carried out by each respective regional Energy Agency. The courses have been conducted in 20 of Sweden’s 21 counties, and have been visited by a total of 790 people. The project lasted between 2012 and 2013, and was funded by the Swedish Energy Agency.
